Every facility in our directory is federally certified by SAMHSA (the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). We do not list lead-generation networks or pay-per-referral treatment brokers — every record comes directly from the federal source.
Why this matters
The addiction treatment industry has a long history of predatory lead-gen operators who intercept people in crisis and sell their contact information to the highest-bidding treatment center. Sober-Search exists to fix that: every record is a real facility with a real federal certification number, sourced directly from findtreatment.gov.
